I met my husband when we were both attending college in Pennsylvania. He was on the baseball team, and I was the star pitcher for the softball team. We are both still quite athletic, but we have slowed down quite a bit from those days. We got married, had four children, started our own business, and generally enjoy life, but we were both slowing down even though we were still young, at least in our eyes. He was always tired, and I had no energy. A good customer of ours told us to look into a chiropractor in SF if we wanted to get our youth back even a little bit.
I had no idea what a chiropractor could do for us, but I figured it was worth a shot because our activity levels were making us pretty exhausted. I made an appointment for the two of us so we could go together while our oldest son watched the store. I was really glad that the chiropractor agreed to see us together, because I was a bit leery about what was going to happen. I feel pretty silly about that now, but I honestly had no idea what I was in for prior to my first visit there.
What we learned was that we had been abusing our bodies for years. This was not something specific to us. Everyone does it, but not everyone allows their bodies to rejuvenate and get back in prime condition. That is what a spinal manipulation allows, and we both had our first ones right there that day. We walked out feeling better than we walked in, but that is not the biggest impression for us. We go back at least once every month or so now, but we were going twice a week initially. He sleeps better, and I have a ton more energy. I think we both wish we would have done this a lot earlier!
